Exquisite function and design

Polini has been in the laboratory and revised their Evolution kickstarter shield and out of that process they have created the Big Evolution kickstarter shield which carries a far more aggressive design and provides a much more efficient cooling. Big Evolution carries the same, delicious, matte black finish as its predecessor but it is also here that the similarities more or less end. Big Evolution is considerably lighter than a standard kickstarter shield, which is of course also an advantage, but it still carries an Ace in the sleeve. The Big Evolution Kickstarter Shield from Polini is equipped with an integrated guide bearing which stabilizes the clutch shaft and provides a more stable power transmission.

Why is it important to cool the transmission?

The machine-cut ventilation holes allow a sea of air to flow through. This large airflow cools your variator, V-belt, clutch and clutch bowl by passing through the shield and then draws the heat out, keeping the operating temperature down so that you do not lose power on these components, even after hours of operation. When we talk about racing, it is super important to ensure optimum conditions for its engine so that it performs optimally all the time every time you turn the throttle. This could easily be one of those margins that can make the difference in first and second place, and where would you prefer to stand on the podium?
