Autochoker for scooter

Automatic choke for 12mm and 17.5mm DellOrto, Gurtner and Keihin carburetors.
This choke fits most models - both 2T and 4T.
NOTE: For some models, the plug must be changed.

Specifications:

Piston diameter: 7mm
Needle height: 9mm
Tightening collar on choke housing: 19.9mm

The automatic choke helps ensure that your scooter can start even if the engine is cold. The valve will automatically "suffocate" for gasoline and airways slowly. After approx. 5 minutes the valve will be pushed out and stopped for the shortcut as the engine is still warm enough to keep itself running. In this way, you ensure that your scooter is easy to start, because it has sufficient flow of both air and gasoline, while being economical in gasoline when the engine is properly turned.

This automatic choke should simply be connected to the wiring harness and the capacitor. The automatic choke from Zoot consists of several elements that make the whole suffocation process possible. The choke has a power supply, valve, needle and rubber ring which together makes it possible to control the amount of gasoline and air flowing through. The small needle will slowly push forward as the engine gets hot, thus covering the shortcut used by the petrol at startup. the valve simultaneously goes down and covers for the air supply as the mixture remains correct.

NOTE: For some models, the plug must be changed.
