12.5° Hi-Speed Evolution variator

The Hi-Speed variator from Polini is designed to give your engine increased power, but at the same time there has been a great focus on delivering a product that can withstand the stress that a powerful engine setup provides. The Hi-Speed variator gives the V-belt a wide range to run on, even with short gearing. Although the Hi-Speed variator is a competent piece of tuning equipment, Polini has ensured that the original V-belt can still be used.

The very special thing about Polini's Hi-Speed variator is that it is equipped with a simmering ring at each end of the variator housing, as well as a chamber in the middle where you add the included Polini pulley grease , so that the variator can spool quickly back and forth along the slide tube, which increases the traction force and the power curve of your machine, and by reducing friction, you protect the variator housing and sliding tube from wear. Polini has also optimized the sliding path of the rollers to better resist wear, which ultimately results in good durability and longevity of this variator. NOTE: We recommend that you closely study the included instructions, so that you assemble and mount the variator correctly, without damaging the shim rings.

Delivered incl. one set of 19x15.5 3.2 gr variator rollers, spacers, and an Evo compression spring.

Note: In order to mount this variator, the starter wheel and starter ring must be removed. Fits only on 16mm crankshaft.
