CDI - 101_Octane DC

45 km/h DC CDI. NOTE: There are two types of CDI for this model - AC and DC. The difference is that AC gets power from the flywheel magnet in the motor and DC gets power from the battery. It is therefore up to the customer to investigate this himself.

To test if your machine is AC or DC, disconnect the leads from your battery, turn the key and test if the machine can start using the kick starter. Can it start if your machine has an AC ignition system, can it not start if your machine has a DC ignition system.

NOTE: Compare the plug on your original CDI with the plug on this CDI, so you are sure it fits.
